New head office in modern activity based office
Veho’s employees moved from different locations under the same roof when Veho’s head office was implemented to the HOTT-building. Employees participated in the design process of the new office in layout and office etiquette workshops. Focus of the workshops was to find user-centered solutions for the new kind of working environment.
Architecture of the building was a leading element for interior designing. Unique themes were designed to separate the three different office wings. Visual themes symbolizing land, air and water were selected based on the Mercedes-Benz three-pointed star. A special eye-catching element in the Café is a showcase furniture which closes inside of it an unused staircase.
Ecological approach was a key point of the interior design. For example several pieces of existing furniture were moved to the new office. Instead of removing existing fixed furniture, the pieces were only updated to match with Veho look and feel. The new furniture are timeless classics, recycled materials were used and new materials were selected based on durability.
