MTV 2022 - Helsinki - 5000 m2
At the end of 2022, MTV Pöllölaakso relocated to new premises at Vallila Konepaja. In the new facilities, all operations are under one roof, which provided MTV with an unprecedented level of openness and visibility. Gullsten-Inkinen was involved in the project from the beginning, developing the best possible framework for MTV's operations. GI created a space plan in which customer, production, and office areas were designed within the office building, providing the necessary information as construction progressed. We supported the client throughout the construction phase.
Extensive background work was done to determine the functional requirements and proper placement of the spaces. Additionally, customer-centricity was a key focus, with a carefully planned customer journey and memorable visitor experience to provide wow-elements and support the show concept.
Each space has its own functional features while maintaining a cohesive visual appearance. For example, the control room, hidden from view, visually interacts with the adjacent studio. The versatile, impressive, and open spaces support the company's values of collaboration, boldness, and customer focus, acting as an attraction to reinforce the brand image. Neutral color palettes were used in open areas, while meeting rooms featured vibrant colors. Special branding elements were created using branded decals and wallpapers.
