Modern activity based office at Trimble Solutions' new headquarters in Espoo.
Trimble Solutions' new premises on six floors were taken into use by approximately 450 Trimble employees in Leppävaara, Espoo, in the autumn of 2021. Trimble's premises are located on the OOPS building, where Trimble has its own separate lobby. Trimble conference center is located on the second floor and working areas are on the third to fifth floors. Internal stairs were built between the office floors, through which all floors can be accessed smoothly.
Previously, employees had their own rooms, now everyone has own workstations in activity based office. The starting point for the design was to implement a positive work environment that supports the well-being of employees. Plenty of square footage has been used on each floor for collaboration areas. It is easy to move around to relax, play or get together with the team. The goal was to make comfortable spaces where it would be inspiring to meet colleagues.
Trimble’s three floors for working and collaboration were implemented with the themes of relax, game and sport. The themes are supported by different color worlds, furniture and lighting. In addition, the equipment of the collaboration areas varies from floor to floor. For example, the Game floor has plenty of games and entertainment, while the Sport floor encourages to exercise. The sixth floor has a multi-purpose area suitable for training events, hobbies and group exercising. The space has also access to the roof terrace, which offers a magnificent view over Leppävaara.
