Orion 2023 - Espoo - 14000 m²

The Orion headquarters built in 1984 in Espoo underwent a complete renovation in 2023, with Gullsten-Inkinen working as the head designer overseeing the entire design process. The main goal of the renovation was to update the spaces to meet modern standards.

The complete renovation of the spaces improved the user experience. We created spaces that support wellbeing by modernizing technical building solutions, space layouts, and the interior. The use of space layouts enhanced the efficiency of space utilization. Traditional room-based office floors were transformed into flexible hybrid working spaces to improve collaboration and offer flexible solutions for future needs.

Orion is a building from the 1980s, showcasing its construction era. We wanted to honor the original work, which defined clear boundaries for our designs. Keywords timeless, responsible, and quality guided our work from the beginning of the project. The renovated Orion headquarters now provides a high-quality working environment for the next decades to come.
