GI & 300 pine seedlings

We were Finland’s first design agency in 2010 to be accepted into the WWF’s Green Office network, and we have been carbon-neutral since 2019. We design spaces that stand the test of time, aim to reuse furniture, prefer ecologically responsible manufacturers and suppliers, and consider the lifecycle of materials in our designs.

Once again, in collaboration with Reforest Finland Ltd., we have calculated our carbon footprint for the year 2022.

Our carbon footprint is small, but we still want to offset the emissions. The GI designers headed to North Karelia for the weekend, where they planted 300 pine seedlings in the Salokylä landscapes. It was an amazing weekend, doing good for the environment while spending time with our fantastic colleagues!
