An old train factory became a modern business park
Logomo Byrå is an important piece of Finnish industrial history. GI helped transform the old train factory listed by Finland’s National Board of Antiquities into a modern business park and entertainment venue.
Logomo’s need was for a flexible and modular space capable of accommodating future growth. Its business concept relies on synergy between its tenants, performers and visitors, hosting weekly concerts and musicals, with excellent acoustic comfort in a space of vital importance. To honor the historic building, we left the red-brick walls untouched and simply opened the ceiling to let the sunshine in.
