Kerava City Library 2001 - Kerava - 4600 m2
A timeless and streamlined library
The building design was originally an entry in an architecture competition won by Quad Architects of Helsinki in 2000. The library was opened to the public in the autumn of 2003. GI created the interior design of the building. The result is timeless and streamlined, which matches the building’s simplified architecture based on natural materials.
The building is located in Kerava, at the edge of the Greater Helsinki Area.
