Gullstén-Inkinen designed a unique lay out solution for the Helsinki Region Environmental Services Authority HSY. 310 employees work only in two office floors. The meeting rooms are located in the ground floor. GI was involved with the contractor Hartela's development project at the Ilmala Station property right from the start. We assisted the contractor and the architect to develop a unique layout, first for the whole building and then for HSY’s premises.
Gullstén-Inkinen created a spacious “Market square” that can host various HSY stakeholder events and staff gatherings.
GI also designed the interiors, one of the themes being a collection of maps of the Helsinki metropolitan area. Recycling is an important part of the HSY operations, and therefore it is visually present in the premises.
In order for the HSY organization to be able to use the premises in the best possible way, our work environment specialists helped them with change coaching.
