This year, instead of spending money on cards and gifts, we have donated money to Moving School programme that operates in India, Goa. A lot of families from other Indian states migrate every year to Goa due to better job opportunities. Thanks to the volunteer operated Moving School programme, children from poor conditions with working parents can go to school in their new community. In their home state this would not be possible at all. By donating to this programme, we want to support and help children on creating a better future for themselves and family.
Our Finance Manager, Jaana Kojo will be visiting and wishing or greetings in January 2012. For further information on the shool programme, please visit www.movingschool.org
Should you wish to donate, we are more than happy to give contacts details of our Finnish Moving School representative.

Rosso is a popular family dining restaurant chain in Finland and has served its customers for decades with great success. The first restaurant was opened in Lahti in 1978. Today, the chain has expanded to 42 restaurants throughout Finland and one in Tallinn, Estonia.
Late 2010, the operator for Rosso restaurants, S-Group instructed GI to update the restaurant concept image to meet future market needs. The first new restaurant concept was opened in the beginning of July in Porvoo. The new concept has an Italian diner atmosphere that not only focuses on the visual experience but the quality of food and how it is made. The most significant operative change to the chain of restaurants will be the installation of an open wood burning oven. It is essential to the new concept and will make Rosso’s pizzas even tastier and more famous. In addition, the restaurant concept will include a deli where customers can buy Italian food ingredients such as olive oil, balsamic vinegar, pastas and even ice cream
